Ben Gvir visits Al-Aqsa compound, says 'I feel like the owner'

Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has visited the Al-Aqsa mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem.

He was seen in a video posted by his office online at the site, saying: "Today, I feel like the owner here.

"There is still more to do, more to improve.

The foreign ministry said Ben Gvir's visit was a "desecration of its sanctity, a condemnable escalation and an unacceptable provocation".
