At least 26 people have been killed in three separate Easter attacks in northern Nigeria.
The Nigerian military and local officials report that armed men attacked the Mbalom community in Benue State on Saturday, killing at least 17 people.
In Borno State, four police officers died in a gunfight with an Islamic State-affiliated group.
In Kaduna State on Sunday, gunmen killed five people at an Easter service.
The army says the attackers abandoned 31 hostages after troops responded.
Kaduna has seen frequent attacks and abductions, with ongoing violence affecting many regions in Nigeria.
