Calls in Cork for dog licences and microchips to be linked in interests of animal welfare
Nearly three-quarters of the dogs that end up in shelters are not microchipped, leading one Cork councillor to call for dog licencing and microchipping to be linked to make it easier to reunite dogs with their owners.
