Chief Justice Matthew Durrant retiring from Utah Supreme Court, continuing unprecedented overhaul of the bench

Chief Justice Matthew Durrant announced he will retire from the Utah Supreme Court, effective Aug. 31.

It means that Gov. Spencer Cox will have appointed five of the seven justices in the span of less than a year.
