Utah Mammoth fans buzzing about first NHL playoff home game

The NHL playoffs are headed to Utah for the first time and the state is buzzing with anticipation.

The puck drops Friday in Salt Lake City for Game 3 in the first-round series between the Utah Mammoth and the Vegas Golden Knights.

Utah evened the series at 1-1 with a 3-2 win over Vegas on Tuesday.

Ticket sales have been brisk, even with a 213% increase over average regular-season ticket prices, and watch parties are popping up to give fans another viewing option.

Utah captain Clayton Keller says “I think it’s going to blow past our expectations and I can’t wait for it."
