OpenAI CEO's home attacked

Daniel Moreno-Gama is facing federal and state charges after allegedly traveling from Texas to California with the intent to kill Sam Altman.

The suspect is accused of throwing an incendiary device at Altman's residence and subsequently attempting to set fire to OpenAI's headquarters.

Investigators recovered an 'anti-AI' manifesto from the suspect that advocated for violence against technology leaders to prevent 'impending extinction.' A second incident involving gunfire outside Altman's home just days later is also under investigation by the FBI.
