German FA HQ Raided in Bribery Probe

Police have carried out a major raid on the headquarters of Germany's football federation, the DFB, in a probe into suspected bribery relating to Euro 2024.

The raid on Wednesday morning came just 36 hours after Germany's shock exit from the World Cup.

German investigators launched nationwide searches, with Bild reporting the probe focuses on ticket and hospitality violations during the European Championship.

The scandal adds to the turmoil surrounding German football, which had already faced criticism over the team's performance.
