Jeju Air crash indictments sought for 7 officials

South Korean police are seeking indictments of seven transport ministry officials over the 2024 Jeju Air crash that killed all but two of the 181 people on board.

The officials are accused of negligence in oversight and safety inspections.

The crash occurred when the Boeing 737-800 belly-landed at Muan International Airport and skidded off the runway.

The investigation has been ongoing for nearly two years.
