Dallas Apartment Explosion

A massive natural gas explosion has destroyed an apartment complex in downtown Dallas, killing at least three people and triggering a five-alarm fire.

The blast, which occurred while contractors were reportedly working on a gas line, shook nearby homes and left the building in a heap of smoldering rubble.

Firefighters and search teams are using heavy machinery to comb through the debris for several residents who remain missing.

Authorities have warned that the death toll could rise as they reach more sections of the collapsed structure.
