Ukraine Hits Russian Oil Refineries, Sinks Ship

Ukrainian forces struck three oil refineries deep inside Russia’s Bashkortostan region and sank a sanctioned Russian container ship in the Black Sea, President Zelenskyy confirmed.

The Security Service of Ukraine also hit four Russian radar stations in Krasnodar Krai with long-range drones.

Russia’s Rosatom CEO called the sinking of the Yanina vessel an act of maritime piracy.

The strikes came as Ukraine continued to face a critical shortage of Patriot air defence missiles.
