Hormuz passage for Indian ships

Amidst the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has offered a special exemption to Indian shipping to maintain bilateral trade.

The move is seen as a strategic effort by Tehran to secure reliable economic partners while facing intense pressure from the U.S. and Israel.

Indian refiners have already resumed crude oil imports, citing a lack of payment hurdles for the transactions.

This agreement is expected to stabilize India's energy supply as global crude prices continue to fluctuate due to the regional conflict.
