Navy jets collide at air show

A mid-air collision between two Navy fighter jets occurred during a high-profile air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.

Stunned spectators watched as the four crew members successfully ejected before the EA-18G Growlers plunged to the ground and exploded in a fireball.

All four pilots were recovered and are reported to be in stable condition, with one receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The air show was immediately canceled as military investigators began a probe into the cause of the rare and terrifying accident.
