Daring U.S. rescue inside Iran

In what President Trump has labeled one of the most daring search-and-rescue operations in history, U.S. commandos successfully recovered a weapons systems officer from the Iranian mountains.

The airman had been missing for over 48 hours following the downing of an F-15E fighter jet by Iranian forces.

The mission was fraught with technical difficulties, reportedly resulting in the loss of several U.S. aircraft that had to be destroyed on-site to prevent them from falling into enemy hands.

Despite Iranian claims that the mission was foiled, the airman is confirmed to be safe and sound.
