US Navy Seizes Iranian Ship

Tensions between Washington and Tehran reached a new peak after the USS Spruance intercepted and boarded the Iranian container ship Touska near the Strait of Hormuz.

US Central Command released footage of the encounter, stating the vessel was disabled after ignoring warnings to stop while attempting to breach the blockade.

The incident occurred just as negotiators were preparing for a second round of high-stakes talks in Pakistan aimed at extending a fragile ceasefire.
