Nathalie Baye passes away

The film industry is mourning the loss of Nathalie Baye, whose versatile career spanned drama, thrillers, and comedy.

Baye first rose to international prominence in François Truffaut's 'Day for Night' and later starred in Steven Spielberg's 'Catch Me If You Can.' French President Emmanuel Macron led the tributes, praising her as a 'luminous figure' of the silver screen.

She is survived by her daughter, actress Laura Smet, from her high-profile relationship with the late singer Johnny Hallyday.
