Nigerian Forces Rescue 360 Captives

Nigerian security forces rescued 360 individuals, including women and children, from a Boko Haram mountain hideout in Borno state.

The successful operation followed intelligence-led efforts, bringing hope to communities affected by the long-running insurgency.

Two infants, however, died from exhaustion during their captivity.

Senator Ali Ndume commended the troops for their efforts, while the Christian Association of Nigeria urged the federal government to declare a state of emergency on insecurity.
