Trent Williams signs $50M extension

The restructured agreement includes $37 million in guaranteed money, ending speculation that the All-Pro tackle might be traded.

Williams, who has been a mainstay of the 49ers' offensive line, had been seeking a deal that reflected his value as one of the league's top performers.

The extension allows San Francisco more flexibility to address other needs during the upcoming draft in Pittsburgh.

Williams' agency, Elite Loyalty Sports, confirmed the deal on Monday afternoon.
