Saphier nominated for Surgeon General

President Donald Trump has nominated Dr. Nicole B. Saphier, a radiologist and Fox News contributor, to serve as the next U.S. Surgeon General.

This decision follows the withdrawal of Dr. Casey Means, whose nomination had stalled in the Senate due to her controversial views on vaccines and public health policy.

Saphier, who currently practices at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, is expected to face a more straightforward confirmation process.

The administration stated that Saphier's expertise and public communication skills make her an ideal fit for the nation's top doctor role.
