Prince Harry visits Ukraine

The Duke of Sussex arrived in the Ukrainian capital without prior notice, speaking as a former soldier rather than a political figure.

He directly appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin to 'stop this war' and condemned the systematic war crimes reported in the region.

Harry's comments drew a sharp response from President Donald Trump, who retorted that the prince 'is not speaking for the UK.' The visit coincided with the EU's approval of a major new loan package for Ukraine's defense.
