Woman dead after car ploughs through cafe

Police are investigating after a woman was killed when a car crashed into a cafe at a shopping centre in Wantirna South.

The incident occurred in the outdoor seating area of the cafe.

Emergency services attended the scene, but the woman died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle is being questioned by police.
