Passenger Dies After Jet2 Flight Restraint

A 35-year-old father, Callum Kerr, died after being restrained by passengers on a Jet2 flight from Larnaca to Manchester after reportedly becoming ‘aggressive and disruptive.’ Witnesses said he had headbutted a fellow passenger and that people feared he was going to kill someone before he was restrained and lost consciousness.

Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation and the police watchdog, the IOPC, is now reviewing the circumstances.

The airline said it was assisting authorities with their inquiries.
