Meta Pulls AI Image Feature After Privacy Backlash

Meta disabled its Muse Image AI generator on Instagram after users and Hollywood agencies raised privacy concerns.

The feature automatically opted in public accounts, allowing their photos to be used in AI images.

Meta said it “missed the mark” and pulled the feature.

The company separately added a privacy-safety feature to its AI glasses that disables the camera if users tamper with the LED recording light.
