Sudan War Enters Fourth Year

An international donor conference in Berlin has produced pledges of over $1.5 billion in aid, but the Sudanese government has rejected the outcome, claiming it was not properly consulted.

The conflict has functionally collapsed the systems required to sustain life, with over 33 million people now in need of urgent assistance.

While global attention has often been diverted by other conflicts, the scale of death and displacement in Sudan continues to grow unabated.

Experts warn that without a meaningful political settlement, the nation risks a total state failure that could destabilize the entire region.
