Major drug seizure in Rajasthan

In one of the largest narcotics operations in recent months, Rajasthan's Anti Narcotics Task Force intercepted a tanker carrying 234 kg of a banned precursor chemical.

The material, which is used in the large-scale production of synthetic drugs, was discovered hidden within the vehicle after it had traveled over 1,500 km from Hyderabad.

Two suspects have been taken into custody, and investigators believe they are part of a sophisticated interstate drug trafficking network.

This seizure follows a series of successful raids across the state, as authorities ramp up efforts to dismantle the infrastructure of the synthetic drug trade and prevent the flow of illicit substances into urban centers.
