Tariff Refund Portal Launches

Importers and brokers can begin applying for a share of the estimated $127 billion in refundable payments starting at 8 a.m. The process is expected to take between 60 and 90 days for payments to be disbursed once claims are verified.

The ruling has provided significant relief to industries impacted by the aggressive trade policies of the last few years.

However, some legal experts warn that the administration may still attempt to challenge the extent of the reimbursements in future court filings.
