Artemis II crew returns home

Commander Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen have completed their record-breaking mission around the moon, marking a pivotal step in humanity's return to deep space.

The crew covered nearly 700,000 miles, testing critical systems for the planned Artemis III lunar landing in 2027.

Their safe splashdown and subsequent reunion with loved ones have been celebrated as a "moment of happiness and hope" for the planet.

NASA officials confirmed that the mission data will be vital for future expeditions to Mars and beyond.
