Hong Kong convicts Tiananmen vigil organizers

Hong Kong's High Court found two former organizers of the annual Tiananmen Square vigil guilty of inciting subversion under the national security law.

The activists, Lee Cheuk-yan and Chow Hang-tung, were convicted for repeatedly urging an end to 'one-party dictatorship.' They face sentences of up to 10 years.

The verdict has drawn international criticism and renewed focus on Hong Kong's shrinking civil liberties.
