Trump Tariff Refund Portal Launches
The new system, administered by US Customs and Border Protection, aims to reimburse over 330,000 importers who paid duties on more than 53 million shipments.
The Supreme Court ruled earlier this year that President Trump had overstepped his authority in imposing the broad trade levies.
While the launch of the portal is a significant milestone, businesses expect the refund process to take between 60 and 90 days.
Major corporations, including Costco and FedEx, have already initiated legal actions to ensure timely repayment of the billions owed.
