Traffic co-founder Dave Mason dies

The rock world is mourning the loss of Dave Mason, a prolific songwriter whose work left an indelible mark on the classic-rock canon.

Mason wrote the much-covered anthem 'Feelin’ Alright?' and had a successful solo career with hits like 'We Just Disagree.' Over his six-decade career, he collaborated with some of music's biggest names, including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and Fleetwood Mac.

His former bandmate Steve Winwood paid tribute to his enduring presence and the lasting imprint he left on the soundtrack of millions of lives.
