Teen Charged in Cruise Murder
The U.S. Justice Department has unmasked 16-year-old Timothy Hudson as the suspect in the brutal killing of his stepsister aboard the Carnival Horizon.
Hudson is accused of strangling Anna Kepner and concealing her body under a bed in their shared cabin.
While originally charged as a juvenile, a judge has transferred the case to adult prosecution due to the severity of the crimes.
The indictment includes charges of first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse, though Hudson cannot face the death penalty because of his age at the time of the incident.
