Amazon expands logistics network

Amazon has announced it will open its massive supply chain and distribution network to other businesses, directly competing with UPS and FedEx.

The new service, Amazon Supply Chain Services, will offer freight, fulfillment, and delivery for non-Amazon marketplace sellers.

The move has already caused shares of traditional logistics giants to plummet as investors anticipate a major market disruption.

Amazon aims to leverage its existing infrastructure to provide a more efficient and cost-effective alternative for global shipping.
