Sudan war drone strikes kill 700

The conflict in Sudan has reached a grim milestone with nearly 70% of the population now pushed into poverty.

UN officials have expressed outrage at the world's silence as near-daily drone strikes continue to disrupt life across the country.

Over 12 million people have been displaced, creating the world's largest humanitarian crisis.

Aid chief Tom Fletcher lamented that the international community has failed to meet the test of Sudan, where three babies are being born into war every minute.
