YouTube to Detect AI Videos

YouTube is implementing a sophisticated new detection system designed to automatically identify and label AI-generated content on its platform.

The update specifically targets 'photorealistic' synthetic media that could be mistaken for real-world events or people.

Creators will now be required to disclose when they have used generative AI to create realistic-looking videos, or face potential penalties and content removal.
