US Navy clears Hormuz mines

U.S. Central Command has confirmed that the USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. and USS Spruance have entered the Strait of Hormuz to establish a safe passage for commercial shipping.

The operation occurs as the Iranian regime reportedly struggles to find and remove its own mines, which were planted erratically during the peak of hostilities.

President Trump claimed on social media that the U.S. is 'clearing out' the waterway, asserting that Iran's naval capabilities have been decimated.

However, Tehran has denied these claims and issued warnings that any unauthorized presence in the strait will be met with a military response.
