Pakistan train bombing kills 30

At least 30 people were killed and dozens more injured when a suicide bomber targeted a shuttle train in southwestern Pakistan's Balochistan province.

The blast, which derailed the train and caused two carriages to catch fire, primarily targeted military personnel returning home for the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist group, claimed responsibility for the strike, which is the latest in a series of violent incidents in the restive region.

Local officials have warned that the death toll may rise as many of the injured remain in critical condition.
