F1 rule changes announced
The FIA and F1 stakeholders met on Monday to refine the current rulebook after stars like Max Verstappen and Lando Norris voiced their frustration.
The changes will focus on how cars harvesting and deploy electrical power to ensure qualifying remains 'flat out' and overtaking is less dangerous.
Mercedes principal Toto Wolff described the approach as using a 'scalpel rather than a baseball bat' to avoid overcorrecting.
These adjustments are expected to be implemented starting with the race in Miami on May 3.
