Associated British Foods Demerger
The split will separate the high-street fashion giant from ABF's grocery and sugar businesses, which include brands like Twinings and Kingsmill.
Executives expect the process to be completed by the end of 2027, with both companies maintaining listings on the London Stock Exchange.
The move comes as Primark faces increasing competition from online retailers like Shein and Temu.
Despite the announcement, ABF's share price fell as the company warned that the Middle East conflict could impact supply chains and costs.
