Georgia Rep. David Scott Dies

The political community is mourning the passing of Representative David Scott, a trailblazing Democrat from Georgia.

Scott died on Wednesday while seeking his 13th term in Congress, representing the state's 13th District since 2003.

He was remembered by colleagues as a fierce advocate for Black communities and a leading voice on agricultural and food policy.
