Sudan War Enters Fourth Year

Over 13 million people have been forced to flee their homes since the conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces began in 2023.

The fighting has decimated the country's infrastructure, leading to the closure of 40% of community kitchens and leaving nearly 30 million people facing acute hunger.

While a donor conference in Germany seeks to raise billions in relief funds, the Sudanese government has criticized the event as an interference in its internal affairs.

Diplomatic efforts for a lasting ceasefire remain stalled as regional powers continue to exert influence over the warring factions.
