Trump's White House Ballroom Stalled
President Donald Trump has lashed out at the judiciary following a new court decision that halts his ambitious plans for a lavish new ballroom at the White House.
The project, which has drawn comparisons to the opulence of Marie Antoinette, is currently the subject of ongoing litigation over its funding and environmental impact.
While the above-ground structure is stalled, the President has unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art underground bunker that will include bomb shelters and a full-scale medical center.
Trump defended the project on social media, arguing that the facilities are essential for national security during the ongoing war with Iran.
Critics, however, continue to question the necessity of such a massive expenditure during a period of partial government shutdown and economic uncertainty.
