Blue Origin Rocket Grounded

Blue Origin Rocket Grounded

While the rocket's reusable first-stage booster successfully landed on an ocean barge, the second-stage failure rendered the payload satellite unusable.

NASA is counting on the New Glenn to launch critical equipment for the Artemis III moon landing mission, currently scheduled for 2028.

The grounding will remain in effect until a full investigation into the engine malfunction is completed.

This incident also impacts Amazon's ambitions to deploy its own satellite internet constellation to rival SpaceX's Starlink.
