Flooding hits Birmingham amid storm warnings

Flooding has hit Birmingham as yellow thunderstorm warnings cover much of England and Wales.

Two yellow thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Thursday, with forecasters warning of lightning strikes, power cuts and heavy rainfall.

The Met Office has extended its thunderstorm warning as wind and rain batter Lancashire.
