Iran Fires Missiles at Ships in Hormuz

Iran's Revolutionary Guards fired at least two missiles at commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, causing significant damage but no casualties.

The attack came despite a late-June ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran intended to halt strikes in the strategic waterway.

A Qatari LNG carrier and a British tanker were among the vessels struck.

The incident has raised fresh concerns over the security of one of the world's most important energy shipping routes.
