Monaco Parcel Bomb Targets Ukrainian Oligarch

A parcel bomb exploded outside an apartment building in the wealthy principality of Monaco late Monday night, seriously injuring Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Ermolaev and his family.

The homemade device was left in front of the luxury residence before detonating, and the suspected bomber fled on foot across the border into France, triggering an international manhunt.

Ermolaev, a wealthy Ukrainian businessman who renounced his Ukrainian nationality, reportedly maintained opaque business activities connected to his country of origin.

Three people were reported injured in the blast.
