Azzi Fudd Goes No. 1
Azzi Fudd has been selected as the number one overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings, securing a landmark $500,000 payday under the league's new collective bargaining agreement.
The former UConn standout joins a talent-rich roster that includes her close friend and former teammate Paige Bueckers, who was the top pick the previous year.
Fudd's arrival in Dallas is expected to immediately elevate the Wings into championship contention as the league sees record-breaking interest and fashion-forward 'orange carpet' energy.
The draft also saw strong selections for UCLA stars Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice, and Gabriela Jaquez.
