Reform UK's Deportation Plan

The proposal, which draws inspiration from the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, would offer migrants up to £1,000 each to voluntarily leave the UK. Farage and Home Affairs spokesperson Zia Yusuf announced the plan amid a surge in small boat crossings in the English Channel.

The Refugee Council and other human rights organizations have condemned the move, arguing that reassessing hundreds of thousands of claims would be prohibitively expensive and legally questionable.

Critics have also accused Reform of pandering to far-right rhetoric ahead of the upcoming local and general elections.
