Russia jams UK Defence jet

UK Defence Secretary John Healey was onboard an RAF jet that was targeted by an electronic attack while flying near the Russian border.

The aircraft's GPS signal was disabled for the duration of the three-hour flight from Estonia back to the United Kingdom, a move intelligence officials believe was a deliberate act of interference by Moscow.

Pilots were forced to switch to a different navigation system to complete the journey safely.

The incident is the latest in a series of 'terrifying' GPS spoofing events involving high-ranking Western officials in the region, highlighting escalating tensions between NATO and Russia.
