The sanctioned candidates include Mark Moran, an independent running for U.S. Senate in Virginia, who claimed he made the bets intentionally to 'get caught' and highlight flaws in the system.

Kalshi's internal probe also identified a Republican candidate from Texas and a Democrat from Minnesota who violated the platform's new guardrails.
