Artemis II crew returns to Earth

NASA's Artemis II mission concluded with a perfect splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, bringing astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen safely back to Earth.

During their 600,000-mile voyage, the crew tested critical life-support systems and captured high-resolution imagery of the lunar surface that will inform future landing missions.

The success of Artemis II paves the way for the Artemis III mission, which aims to land the first woman and first person of color on the moon.

The astronauts are now undergoing medical evaluations and will participate in a series of public briefings to share their experiences.
