Eurasian Union Warns Armenia

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has issued a formal warning to Armenia, stating that its pursuit of EU membership could lead to immediate suspension from the trade bloc.

At a summit in Astana, leaders from Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan expressed concern that Armenia's western tilt jeopardizes the union's economic security.

The threat comes as Armenia prepares for a pivotal national election that is widely seen as a referendum on its geopolitical future.

The Kremlin has intensified its pressure on Yerevan, urging the leadership to maintain its traditional alliances rather than seeking integration with the West.
